After completing a two-year judicial clerkship with Mathew J. Jasen, Senior Associate Judge of
the New York State Court of Appeals and working as an associate attorney at Willkie Farr &
Gallagher and Rivkin Radler, John E. Ryan founded the partnership of Kwiatkowski & Ryan in
1985. He later partnered with John O. Brennan and founded Ryan & Brennan LLP. In 2003, the
firm became known as Ryan, Brennan & Donnelly LLP.
John serves as Special Counsel for numerous municipalities, including the Town of Hempstead,
the Village of Floral Park and East Rockaway, as well as the Town of Hempstead
Industrial Development Agency.
