In 1998, John O. Brennan partnered with John E. Ryan and founded Ryan & Brennan LLP.

In 2003, John M. Donnelly joined the team and the firm became known as Ryan, Brennan & Donnelly LLP (“RBD”). Thoughtfully structured as a boutique law firm, while operating like a firm with big stature, RBD has consistently excelled in its personalized representation of its clients for over two decades.
 

With a concentration in litigation, the firm has been involved in numerous civil matters, both in New York State and Federal Court, including all phases of pre-trial proceedings, trials and appeals. In an effort to provide broader services to clients, RBD expanded its real estate practice years ago. Our mission is to provide high-quality personalized legal services with integrity, professionalism and respect for our clients and the community. The firm is retained as Defense-Counsel by a variety of insurance entities including Allianz, Liberty Mutual, Everest National Insurance Company, and United States Aircraft Insurance Group. RBD also serves as Special Counsel for numerous municipalities, including the Town of Hempstead, the Village of Floral Park and East Rockaway, as well as the Town of Hempstead Industrial Development Agency and the Nassau County Bridge Authority.
